You know there was a time when the villain was someone whom everybody hated & hero was the one who got all the praises.
The wrong was never celebrated & the right was glorified.
But recently this trend has changed.
The movie *The Dark Knight* could be regarded as the trend setter of all this.
The character of Joker was so much loved that it started a new trend; A villain can be desirable too.
From hollywood to bollywood, movies like Dhoom, Raees, Fast & Furious & so on... are made on the same concept. Where the bad guy steals the show.
Recently the character of Khilji ( from bollywood movie Padmaavat )was praised by audience.
Well, untill it remains to the filmy curtain, its completely fine.
But as they say "Films are the mirror of the society".
So, are we buliding a liking towards this evil in real world too ?
Pop,R&B songs with nasty lyrics are becoming the taste of everyone's tongue. Producers go on making such stuff, coz, afterall they need lesser work & bring more money into their pockets.
A grownup wise & aware person may be able to differentiate between this world of Lights-Camera-Action and the Real world but what about a naive ? A child ? who listens to such stuff in taxis, buses, events and everywhere around. How is it gonna effect him ?
In this new era of Cinema the guy with multiple affairs is tagged as 'Playboy' , the bad boy , whom every girl on planet desires & the one with specs on his eyes & books in hand is shown as a 'Loser'. Everyone makes fun of him.
Now, tell me if this is what children will see, what would they like to become ? Loser or Playboy ?
The girl who drinks in a club & goes on moaning a different name every weekend with legs spread wide is the hot shot one & gets all of the limelight.
She is shown as queen of hearts.
Drinking to a limit where you dont even remember your name is cool today...
The conman murderers are depicted as genius planmakers.
Are we accepting evil & wrong things as good ones ? Or are we becoming evil ourselves ?
The society has changed drastically. There was a time when mothers used to pamper their kids with love and affection. Now their love is only uploading on Facebook and Instagram where they never forget to post a cute picture of their baby but forget to feed them with a bottle of milk.
Let me share a personal experience with you. There was a wedding in my colony. On the previous night they played DJ at full volume with songs like Char Botal Vodka kaam mera roz ka(Translation: Drinking 4 bottle vodka is my daily chore, no body stops me & no body can.)
Now all the uncles and aunties were dancing to this number, it was fine until their kids came and joined them on the floor. Now they could have changed the song with some decent lyrics but they didn't care for that. The kids came & started shaking legs with their Moms shouting lyrics like Mummyyy Chaar botal vodka chaar(Come on Mom lets have 4 bottle vodka). And the mighty aunty is sipping alcohol in front of them dancing like😕 ...u know.!
I just wondered what would these children learn from this. And how careless parenting is this ?
When this kid will grow and start drinking at teenage, these parents would blame all the society without realizing the single error in their own deeds.
People now a days take serious things lightly. Their Chalta hai (Who cares) attitudes are responsible for the degradation of this generation to peril.
My point here is that no matter how much sound you become technically.Your mastery over technology holds no value if you have lost your mastery over your mind.
No matter how cool you think you look while smoking, drinking and taking drugs. The Wrong is still Wrong and always will be. The Bad is always Bad. It will never become the Good.
After reading this article, just look around you, you'll see how they are corrupting young minds everywhere through TV, Social Media, Pornography. And just think how lightly people are taking this and how easily we are allowing all this to happen.
See,I know you copy your favourite heroes and heroines. But many of your heroes today are evil heroes .So, copying them will make you one like them. So, apply your brain, don't follow someone blindly because if you'll do, then you'll become evil too and we don't want that in real world...
